Anterselva Biathlon Arena, located in the Alpine scenery of Rasen – Antholz, Italy’s Bolzano, is an iconic Biathlon Arena over 1000m above sea level. Anterselva Biathlon Arena hosted the first Biathlon World Championships in 1975.

In Cortina, three amazing venues will host the exciting events: Curling Olympic Stadium, the host of Curling, was built to host 1956 Olympic Winter Games and is a symbol of the Italian sports tradition. Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre, in the heart of the Dolomites, will host the women’s Alpine Skiing events. Cortina Sliding Centre will host the the Bobsleigh, Skeleton, and Luge competitions.

Anterselva Biathlon Arena

The Anterselva Biathlon Arena (Südtirol Arena) is a gem in the Dolomites. One of the most famous winter sports centres in the world, it has hosted six World Championships (1975, 1976, 1983, 1994, 2007 and 2020). Since 1978, it has hosted the IBU Biathlon World Cup every January. The Anterselva Valley is a perfect destination for cross-country skiing enthusiasts, who can train on 60km of tracks of varying levels. The tracks are also open in summer for roller skiing or high-altitude training.

Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium

The Cortina Ice Stadium, the historic venue where the opening ceremony of the 1956 Olympic Winter Games took place, has been the stage for great sporting achievements, from Carlo Fassi's Olympic gold in figure skating to the Italian national curling team's world title in 2010. At Milano Cortina 2026, it will host the curling events and wheelchair curling competitions.

The closest airport to Anterselva is Venice Airport. Travel time from Venice Airport to Anterselva is approximately 2.5 hours.

Transportation Options:

Elämys Package: When purchasing a package from Elämys, you can request an offer for flights and airport transfers. Offers will be available in March 2025.
Cortina Express: Cortina Express provides airport transfers from Venice Airport to Cortina and the Anterselva region, with prices starting at €25 per person.
Self-Drive: Driving to the hotel is an option. A resident pass is required to pass through traffic filters to access the towns. Elämys will assist in obtaining this pass with a hotel reservation.

Transportation to the Venue

By Car: Spectators can park at designated Park & Ride facilities, with dedicated shuttles available to the venue. More details on Park & Ride facilities will be provided by September 2025.
By Public Transport: Spectators can take a train to Valdaora Station, where dedicated shuttles will transport them to the venue.

Travel Times:

- Hotel Edelweiss – Valdaora Station: 36 minutes via public transport (bus and train).
- Amus Chalet: 5 km from the Biathlon Arena, approximately 20 minutes by public transport.

The TransportApp will be a stand-alone application, meaning it can be independently downloaded from app stores or accessed via a link within the main Olympic Winter Games app.
